Good to Know ...

Generally dealers sell used cars of the year, demonstrators, aged 2-3 years sometimes up to 5 years for cars in exceptional condition.
A certified pre-owned vehicle is first and foremost a vehicle of the same brand as the dealer.

Certified means that it underwent a meticulous inspection of more than a hundred points. It also comes with a guarantee on the important parts of your car engine, transmission, steering, electrical equipment.

To purchase a used vehicle, it is worth to compare between brands and dealers.
In addition, some brands offer additional services associated with the purchase of a certified pre-owned vehicle.

For example: They check the CarProof vehicle history, there might be no deductible if something goes wrong, the privilege of returning the car after a few days if you do not like it, next oil change and filter free, roadside assistance etc..
Warranty service of a certified vehicle also means that the dealer would normally replace defective parts with the original brand parts. The vehicle must not had modification or replacement of major non-original parts to be certified, an additional protection for you.

Please note that manufacturers that offer the longest warranties often allow that the guarantee is transferable if you sell your car. This is an additional point to check when you make your comparisons.
Also, manufacturers provide financing for their certified vehicles and at much attractive rates than financial institutions.
